Winning duo: selection from the 2026 Hachette Guide

It is with great pleasure that we share with you the selection from the 2026 Hachette Guide! Two stars were awarded to our 2024 Sancerre blanc and our 2023 Sancerre blanc “Les Montachins”!

Without further ado, here are the guide’s comments:

2024 white Sancerre: “The jury applauds an atypical but eminently charming Sancerre, with a milky, creamy, fruity (orange) nose, heavily influenced by sweet spices and menthol. Broad and smooth, the palate is impressive in a very open, buttery style, but without heaviness thanks to its underlying acidity. A gastronomic white, to be paired with poultry in cream sauce.”

Sancerre blanc “Les Montachins” 2023: “The color is bright, as is the nose, with piercing accents of lime, flowers, and mango. The palate continues in the same vein, seducing with its tension, slightly chalky texture and lively profile, reinforced by a touch of zest and another of pebbles, echoing the flinty terroir. We would happily pair it with a spoonful of caviar or sea urchins… depending on the budget.
