Les Favorites pays tribute to Catherine de Medicis and Diane de Poitiers, iconic figures of the Château de Chenonceau. Favourites (mistresses) of King Henry II, their elegance and influence still resonate today in the soul of this wine.

Produced from a rigorous selection of the finest hillsides in the Cher region, in Thésée and Monthou-sur-Cher, this cuvée expresses all the nobility of Sauvignon Blanc. It reveals the identity of the Touraine Chenonceaux appellation with finesse. The vines, planted on well-drained hillsides, benefit from ideal exposure and the influence of the Cher river.

The siliceous clay soils known as ‘Perruches’, mixed with flint sand and limestone, shape its character. The natural freshness of the grape variety is balanced with a beautiful aromatic depth.

This cuvée pairs well with seafood, fine fish, delicate poultry and goat’s cheese. With each pairing, it reveals the elegance and uniqueness of its terroir.
