In the heart of the Loire Valley and its châteaux, this cuvée is the result of a desire for exploration and creation. Les Favorites is inspired by Catherine de Medici and Diane de Poitiers, powerful women closely linked to the history of the Château de Chenonceau. Favourites of Henry II, they embody an elegance and influence that still echoes today in the character of this wine.

This Touraine Chenonceaux is a blend of 65% Côt and 35% Cabernet Franc. The siliceous clay soils known as ‘Perruches’, the flint sand and the limestone, give the wine a distinct and elegant identity. This geological diversity, combined with south-east and south-west exposures, allows the aromatic richness and finesse of the Touraine Chenonceaux appellation’s grape varieties to be fully expressed.

Its notes of black cherries and prunes are the perfect accompaniment to roast lamb or a good duck dish.
