CELLAR AND GOAT FARM TOUR
Looking for a gourmet getaway with a stopover at our winery then the goat farm « la Bête Noire Sancerroise »?
Here is a beautiful immersion in Sancerre area!
If you want to live the complete Sancerre experience, you should not miss the most famous couple in the region: white Sancerre wine and crottin de Chavignol cheese for sure!
That is why, with our goat farm partner « La Bête Noire Sancerroise », we offer you half day visits and tastings around these two star products.
Start with our cellar tour (guided and commented tour of the cellar and tasting our wines with « croquets » – sweet local biscuits-) then, head to the goat farm for the milking at 4.30pm/5pm and explore the self-visit tour, the farm and the shop (large choice of crottins with different ageing, as well as regional products made in Berry). At the end, enjoy a tasting of crottins de Chavignol cheese with glass of wine or fruit juice.
From January to mid-March, the goats of La Bête Noire Sancerroise give birth to their baby goats ! Our partner is therefore closed to the public in order to let the goats and their newborns resting quietly. We will offer this activity again when they will open mid-March.
