The Menetou Salon White and Red wines are made with Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir grapes respectively. They are harvested by hand on clayey-calcareous soil and a carpet of tiny shells called "oeil de poules" (chickens’ eye).
This Menetou Salon white wine grown on clay and limestone ground on a carpet of small fossilized shells called "chickens’ eyes." The grapes are sent to a pneumatic press. After a gentle pressing, this wine is fermented with indigenous yeasts.
It is then aged for several months on the lees.
It is fresh and fruity; it tastes
round and soft with notes
of citrus and white flowers.
