The Menetou Salon White and Red wines are made with Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir grapes respectively. They are harvested on clayey-calcareous soil and a carpet of tiny shells called "oeil de poule" (chickens’ eye).

Grape variety :
100% Sauvignon blanc

Terroir :
Soil with mainly limestone.

Vineyard work :
Reasoned culture, cover in grass, no grasskiller, disbudding, green harvest, work on the soils

Winemaking :

The grapes are pressed slowly to extract the best of fruits flavours. It is then fermented for 2 weeks between 13 to 18 degrees, a technique that ensures the conservation of all fruit flavours. It is aged on its fine lees until February in order to develop its intense aromatic powerness and lenght in mouth.
There are then successive tastings that determine the timing of the bottling of our Menetou-Salon.


Very nice clear golden colour. It is fresh and fruity with a slight spiciness. It has aromas of citrus fruits and white flowers. Very elegant !

Food and wine pairing :
The wine should be served between 8 to 12°C. Fish and seafood, scallop Carpaccio and goat cheese.
